Land Rovers are amongst some of the most pimped out SUVs the world over, the Defender, Discovery and Range Rovers receiving attention from many tuners.
The newest Land Rover – the Discovery Sport- has just been licked by premium tuner Startech, a Brabus ally. According to this German specialist, they have developed attractive options for the SUV, including a performance upgrade for the 2.2-litre turbodiesel engine.
It’s stunning range of bodywork components, replacing the agricultural stock look of an off-roader at the front and rear with components that lend it a road SUV look. Startech also mentions that components are made from high-grade plastics in OEM quality, promising precise fitment and good surface quality for easy
painting.
With 265/35 R 22 rubber we can’t debate its sultry and the turbodiesel model gets a processor-controlled PowerXtra plug-and-play auxiliary control which is said is designed to be installed by any authorized Land Rover workshop. Power swells to 155kW at 3500 from the standard 140kW while torque jumps from 420Nm to 460Nm. It should be peppy.
