Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back together to take 1995’s Bad Boys Mike Lowry and Marcus Burnett for one last action-filled, comedic ride of a lifetime. The Bad Boys franchise originally kicked off in 1995 — followed by Bad Boys II in 2003 — and the Bad Boys for Life sequel will see both Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reprising their roles of detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett.

In the new trailer, Lawrence’s Burnett has been promoted to police inspector while Smith’s Lowery finds himself in the middle of a midlife crisis. As both men prepare to retire, a Romanian mob boss comes after them in retaliation on behalf of his brother. The visuals are then, of course, injected with comedy, action, and Mike Lowery’s expensive cars and suits. The iconic duo will be joined by Vanessa Hudgens, Joe Pantoliano (reprising the role of dyspeptic Captain Howard), Charles Melton and Alexander Ludwig. In SA cinemas 24 January 2020.
