Bentley has launched an Apple Watch app specifically geared for its new Bentayga SUV.

The new app allows owners to remotely control a wide range of vehicle functions, including the on-board climate and entertainment systems, or monitor real-time information such as vehicle speed, outside temperature and distance travelled. To give the app a luxury edge, Bentley also included controls for the seats. Drivers can engage the seat ventilation or massage function via their Apple Watch.
“The Bentayga is technologically advanced and combines this with luxury in a way only Bentley can achieve,” said Bentley electrical director Dan Whittaker. “This new Apple Watch connectivity is another example of how we are constantly innovating in order to enhance the customer experience.”
Billed as the fastest and most powerful SUV in the world, the Bentayga is now arriving at customer addresses, one famously being David Beckham. The base price has been set at R3 467 165, however the first production run is limited to higher-spec First Edition variants.
