We all have certain beliefs and one of the most annoying thing – is us expecting the next person to have the same beliefs — I know right!

Love is the most beautiful thing ever, yes it does hurt at times, it pushes you to grow, it pushes you to be less pedantic, and it helps you to see things differently. It makes no sense at times and that’s also ok.

Confidence is everything — it changes everything and it makes everything. As cliché as it might be – it’s true when you look good, you feel good and when you feel good, you do good.

Another thing that I have learned is that we (as human beings) sometimes we try to change fate. Well if you believe in fate but the gist of it is that we want to be in control. We can’t always be in control – at some point, one needs to let go and see where the current takes you.

Growing up is beautiful, embrace it — you will like different things or hate doing the same things over and over again, you will yearn for new friends because old friends don’t make sense anymore. It’s like learning to swim all over again.

Always try new things — I’m trying this formal look thing and surprisingly I’m enjoying it, the formal look – looks good on me and that adds a bit of confidence. I also want to travel to a foreign country on my own just for the experience

Yes, travel, travel, travel, and travel more to Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland, and Mozambique and they are not that far — it won’t cost you much to travel to those countries. What traveling does for you is incomparable to money and you are not saving anything by being Joburg anyways.

Be nice — as easy as it might seem or sound it’s not that easy. Not everything is important, some things you can let them slide … some – maybe not. So greet everyone at work, it won’t kill you and try to be the help that you would appreciate.

Fight — yes fight, fight for the things you believe in, people you believe in, the goals you believe in, it won’t be easy but do it. Leave no room for regrets — be that person that gives it their all. All their passion, love and labour.

Be grateful for everything you have right now, it can always get worse. Remember that someone out there is praying for the same life you have right now, the same opportunities you have right now. Always tell the people you love that you love them because it might be the last time. Get the job you want not the one you need, explore, believe, pray, meditate, read, say I’m sorry, say thank you and be the best you can be.
